This picture, taken in 2013 with a point and shoot, was always going to be too busy to be interesting. The young man’s pose was great, but with everything in focus the picture was dull and uninteresting. What had caught my eye were the decorations on his costume and the body posture as he waited patiently for us gawking photographers to get our fill.
Although I sort of liked the picture at the time it needed skills I didn’t have then, to extract the picture my mind saw, not the one the camera recorded. Finally, now with the acquisition of this skill set I’ve now managed to lift the picture I saw then from the blizzard of digital data.
Technology, ya just gotta love it.
