Today I walked around with a camera and never shot a frame – if the truth must be told, I never even thought of shooting a picture, it was enough to have the weight of the camera in the bag and the comfortable feeling that I intended to take a couple of pictures.
If intention is enough to be convicted of a crime, surely it’s enough to be accepted as genuine motivation for an act of creation.
Maybe in a future world, but not in one where the product of production is the result of the will to produce for the profit of a few.
Or am I confusing things here?
Shot in Mumbai.
