While it may not be everybody’s cup of tea, this sort of picture amuses me, it’s also the sort of situation in which a single image has no peer. This is photography’s strength, an unanticipated moment when something unexpected happens, a moment that also needs a little time to see the joke(s).
I shot three frames in this set, of which this image is the third. The previous two pictures are busily cluttered as you would expect on a parade day (CSD), and then this configuration snapped into the viewfinder. The top of the picture has been cropped off because it was rubbish.
And yes, I am also aware that it doesn’t take much to make me happy.
