It’s all about Choice

And finally, to finish one simply applies the black and white option after importing from the camera with whatever program you use, then, lift the contrast until you have what you want.

As you can see I prefer the harder high contrast option, but it’s really a matter of personal choice and choice is what I’m after in these experiments.

This ability for me to choose how the picture will look, in opposition to technology determining it, is a major driving force in my work.
