Prague Revisited

Today is a day of idly waiting. We are having a new refrigerator delivered as the old one was using so much power that it’s cheaper in the medium to long term to buy a new one than it is to pay the ever-increasing power bills.

This picture is a virtually un-retouched scan of a very old old neg. The photo was taken in Prague on my very first trip to Europe while I was studying Photography at Uni. The trip was important to me because it was the first time I had ever seen snow and so much concentrated rich cultural history.

It was this trip that made me determined to come and live in Europe.
